"it isn't that we dream too wild a dream: the trouble is we do not make it seem sufficiently unlikely; for the most we can think up is a domestic ghost."
--- Vladimir Nabokov, Pale Fire
I build systems that live at the intersection of technology, art, and philosophy. My work reflects a love of exploration, a habit of questioning boundaries, and a belief that limitations are often just unasked questions. I am interested in recursion, world-building, and the challenge of designing tools and experiences that challenge how people think, even a little. I am always looking for the edge of what’s possible, and what might be hiding just beyond it.
a system that autonomously designs, simulates, and evolves entire universes with their own physical laws, life forms, and civilizations where each capable of developing their own systems, which in turn create more universes. this forms an infinite recursive loop of "nested realities," where each layer is unaware of the layers above or below it. this is a paradox where you are both a creator and creation, if you already are in such a recursive chain
i value natural rhythms of progress, inconsistency being part
like clouds on a summer day, i’m never the same shape twice
i embrace the breeze of change, wouldn’t have it any other way
